A Sleep Cycle Experiment

In times of deep sleep one wonders what the function of consciousness is. Even normal sleep is not completely understood for if it is then we cannot rightly call it deep sleep. While sleep may be considered static there are different types of sleep patterns. The polyphasic sleep cycle is one in which consciousness has no function. This is because it means to sleep in spells. A 20th century psychologist J.S.Szymanski coined the word. Sleeping multiple times in a day of 24 hours without any scheduling is not natural for most people who are ‘Regular’. It can also be referred to as segmented sleep. The mysterious painter and polymath, Leonardo Da Vinci was supposed to have had a polyphasic sleep cycle. Very few people manage to develop it naturally. The purpose is to be awake for a longer period of time in a day. Such bouts of deep sleep help in mastery of the human mind

Yoga the magic power

The one who has power over himself truly attains success in the course of confidence; non other can succeed. Therefore, with faith yoga should be practiced with care perseverance. Yoga is a key to life. If there is a key to life, it is yoga. The natural and supernatural mysteries are opened with the key called yoga, by our Indian saints and sages. Yoga is no longer looked upon as a bizarre fad of the fakirs. It is honored and treasured as a royal mystery both in America and Europe. Yoga is both art and science. It can alone save the modern man from personal deterioration and circumstantial frustration. Yoga has a scientific rather than a dogmatic basis and genesis. Everything we are learning about the inner man and outer space fits into the yoga system.
The science of yoga is the science of cosmos. Before a discipline can reach deep understanding, he must unfold his personality through contemplation, devotion and service. Yoga plants the seed of truth in the heart of a true devotee. For every idea that a student understands there are a thousand that flow into his mind atomically and unconsciously. The tree of knowledge grows from the seed of truth and yoga, because without yoga there is no truth.

Today many women want to be independent and will to work hard to earn good money. Micro finance offers them excellent opportunities to be entrepreneurs and thus they can also contribute to societal growth and family stability. The newly set up micro finance banks have mainly encouraged women from low and lower middle income groups to set up small business by seeking collateral free loans. Since maximum loan limit of micro finance banks is Rs.100000, additional loans for expanding business can be obtained from other specialized financial institutions like First women bank and SME bank. Since the main parameters to assess viability of loan proposal are position of cash flows and growth in business assets, women entrepreneurs handling their business with reasonable operational efficiency have nothing to worry about arranging conventional collateral for seeking bigger loans. The growing assets of business would be most desirable collateral. The women need to shift to ventures like fishpond cultivation, dairy farming green houses (for cultivation of out of season vegetables and fruits), carpentry (for making fruit crates etc for packing) and bakery products etc. There are certain non- traditional lines of business. The only drawback is that there are no long-term clinical studies that show it is effectiveness in treating yeast infections. In some short-term studies, the compound known as terpinen-4-ol is thought to be the major factor the relief of yeast infections. Until more long-term studies are done, and tea tree oil is proven not only effective but also safe for use, it is not widely recommended. However, if you have used it before with success, there is no law that would restrict you from using the oil.
